Kanye West has dropped a new Christmas album on Christmas Day.
The new album is by the same choir that performs at his Kanye’s Sunday Services events.
In an interview with Rolling Stone some time ago, West told the magazine that he was planning on dropping the album at Christmas.
His October release of ‘Jesus is King’, reached number 1 on the Billboard top 200 Christian charts.
West’s choir has performed at Coachella, Joel Osteen’s Lakewood Church and also in West’s new play, ‘Mary’.
“The Service features gospel-inspired remixes of classic songs of different genres, and also straightforward choir-led gospel tunes,” according to a press release announcing the new album. “The mix of hip-hop and spirituality has drawn great crowds and continues to inspire globally.”
