Brooke Fraser has streamed a live set of her songs to help raise money for Kiwis in the music industry affected by the coronavirus.

No longer based in New Zealand, the proud Kiwi hasn’t forgotten her roots and where it all started.

“Thanks so much to all 8,000+ of you who tuned in to last night’s live Instagram set – some of you like @lauralexanixon below wearing your @brookefraser merch! ?” she stated on Instagram. ⁣⁣

“It was such a special time together and a huge thanks to all who donated to @musichelpsnz – your generosity is going to make such a big difference to the music biz Kiwis doing it tough. Much aroha for and to you all! ⁣ ⁣⁣

“Music Helps Live has been established to bring crisis relief funds to the thousands of Kiwis in the New Zealand music industry facing hardship due to the closures and cancellations resulting from the current COVID-19 pandemic (these are my people!). 100% of support raised will go directly to people in need. ”
